Delta adds Analog Feedback Options to the New RMC70 Series one- and two- axis motion controller

August 23, 2004 - Vancouver, WA. Delta Computer Systems, Inc. is now shipping RMC70 Series motion controllers with analog feedback capabilities. The AA(x) versions include a single axis module with one analog control output and one analog feedback input or as a two axis version with two outputs and two inputs. Each control output provides +/- 10volts while analog inputs can be individually configured for 4-20 mA or any voltage up to +/-10volts.

With these new products, Delta now offers a variety of feedback options for closed-loop motion control applications using the one and two- axis RMC70 Series stated Steve Nylund, CEO of Delta Computer Systems, Inc.

The entire Delta RMC motion controller family targets hydraulic, pneumatic and electric servo motion control applications with position, speed, and\ position-pressure/force needs. As with the Delta's flagship RMC100 Series for multi-axis motion control, the RMC70 Series offers easy setup, tuning, programming, and diagnostics.

Industrial markets for the RMC family include plastics, metals, casting, forest products, testing, automotive, aerospace, waste water treatment, entertainment, and process applications. Specific applications include injection molding, hydro forming, cyclic testing, press controls, veneer lathes, theme park animation, show rides, pulping refiners, synchronized lifting or stacking and many others.
