QUAD/10
Quadrature to MDT Converter
The QUAD/10 module electronically converts quadrature encoder phase signals to equivalent magnetostrictive linear transducer signals.
As with Delta's multi axis controllers, a large number of industrial controllers are designed to work with linear transducers. If the application calls for a few axes of rotary motion control alongside of some linear axes, the QUAD/10 can be used to reduce the number of different types of controllers in the system. In short, the QUAD/10 permits the controller designed for linear motion control to be used for rotary motion control.
Specific applications of the QUAD/10 vary widely. This module can be used with any of Delta's motion control families, for example, Delta's MMC120, MMC, VMC or MC controllers
